The Birmingham Art Walk event returns on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5 – 8 p.m. This free strolling event brought to you by the Birmingham Shopping District (BSD) in partnership with the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (BBAC) and City of Birmingham Public Arts Board, features local businesses and artists, musical performances, special promotions, and more.

Birmingham Farmers Market’s 2023 Tote Bag Design Contest
The Birmingham Farmers Market invites children of all artistic abilities, in kindergarten through eighth grade, to participate in the 2023 tote bag design contest. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of local judges with the winning artist’s design to be printed on the 2023 Birmingham Farmers Market reusable tote bags, distributed to hundreds of marketgoers during the season! At the September 1, 2022 BSD Board Meeting, Sheppard-Decius was unanimously appointed to serve as Executive Director of the Birmingham Shopping District, beginning December 1, 2022.
